A couple of weeks ago I met with Alicia and Josh for their portrait shoot in Macclesfield Forest ahead of their September wedding at The Plough in Congleton. It was brilliant to finally meet these guys for the first time. Not only did they coose a gloriously sunny day to meet up with me, they also did an outstanding job as tour guides around the forest (if you haven’t explored over there then you should definitely go, its beautiful). both of them were totally relaxed in front of the camera from the very beginning… I love it when that happens.
As luck would have it, we happened to bump into one of my very first couples who I had the pleasure of photographing back in July 2012, such a long time ago now and so much has changed since then A big shout out to Emma and James for the lovely tips and advice to Alicia and Josh, and also for possibly being the greatest adviertisement I could have asked for… it was as if I had planted them in the forest to appear and sing my praises!
I’m really looking forward to seeing what their September wedding brings, I know it’s going to be a good one.
