Manchester City Centre Wedding
Paul and Gerardo’s Manchester city centre wedding was incredible for just so many reasons. On first meeting Paul and Gerardo I immediately fell in love with them, it’s impossible not to. They have a crazy amount of love for each other and are just so much fun to be around. Then there’s Bruno and Chace, their beloved Schnauzer babies. They certainly run things in that household and have Paul and Gerardo wrapped around their soft little paws.
Intimate Wedding Ceremony
Paul and Gerardo wanted their wedding day to relaxed, fun, and free from all the usual formalities. They chose to concentrate on the parts of a wedding day that are important to them, I loved their approach. They had an intimate wedding with just their nearest and dearest in attendance, this included Gerardo’s proud parent’s who had travelled over from Venezuela to watch their son marry the love of his life. After an emotion packed ceremony we all made our way in the sunshine down to Artisan for drinks and a reception in their private dining room.
In terms of photography, they wanted a documentary approach to the day. So no posing, no formal group photographs, instead capturing things as they happened. The only time a little posing came into play was when Bruno and Chace turned up after the meal for some portrait sessions with the newlyweds, the day just wouldn’t have been complete without a visit from those guys.
I only spent a few hours with Paul and Gerardo, yet I feel like I’ve made two wonderful friends. The biggest of congratulations to you both, I am so ridiculously happy for you.
