Delamere Forest Woodland Wedding
Here is the beautiful second part to Emma and Dave’s wedding week extravaganza; their Delamere Forest woodland wedding. This was the first time I’d ever photographed a wedding over a couple of days, and it was just so nice to get to see everyone I’d previously met at the civil ceremony again. Quite often I arrive at someone’s house in the morning, spend all day hanging out with everyone (and taking photographs too obviously), have a fantastic time getting to know everyone, and then never see anyone again… it makes me feel a bit sad.
Woodland Beauty
The morning was spent with Emma over at her Dad’s house before making a the journey to Delamere. The sun was blazing, which meant one thing; the whole world was out on the roads heading out for the day. There’s nothing quite like a traffic jam to get a photographers blood pumping. Dave waited patiently in the sunshine for Emma to arrive. When she did, she looked every inch the woodland beauty walking towards him with her Dad. They had a handfast blessing ceremony involving their close friends, and managed to stay tied together for quite some time too. Which is no mean feat when you’re trying to enjoy a drink or two!
The afternoon and evening were spent enjoying good food, drinks in the sunshine, with plenty of games thrown into the mix for good measure. I had such a great experience that week with Emma and Dave, thanks again you lovely people.
