Didsbury House Hotel Winter Wedding
My 2017 got off to an absolutely storming start, with Katie and Martin’s Didsbury House Hotel Winter wedding back in January. The whole day felt like one big house party from start to finish. Didsbury House certainly has that feel about it, which makes the perfect setting if you have a group of family and friends who want to party hard, which Katie and Martin definitely had in abundance.
Katie and Martin met at speed dating (a 40 second conversation about baked beans, if my memory serves me correctly), so as a little nod to that they had a game of table speed-dating so their guests could get to know each other a little better, such a genius idea. The whole day reflected them as a couple perfectly; a massive amount of fun.
They weren’t particularly bothered about having lots of preparation photographs in the morning, but instead we decided that I’d stay until the band finished. This meant plenty of dance floor action, which I LOVE. Hope Street Busking Band had the dance floor rocking the minute they started, and it stayed that way until the very end. The dance floor was literally bouncing, at one point I was slightly concerned for the band as instruments were starting to shake.
Congratulations Katie and Martin, and thanks so much for having me along!
