Yoga Portraits at Home
Some freak April snow meant a quick change of plan to Camille’s shoot, so we made the decision to do her yoga portraits at home. I didn’t quite fancy making her stand in the middle of a blizzard in the Peak District, I don’t think the photographs would have been anywhere near as joyful as the ones you see below! Camille’s home was rich in colour with beautiful pockets of light that made her shine so brightly, she could light up the darkest of rooms with her smile though.

Camille teaches yoga and will be heading back to her native France to grow her business further. She wanted a set of photographs that represented who she is, as well as showing off some of the yoga techniques she teaches. We chose a few different spots in her home to work in (including a portrait sat on the loo. Sometimes you can’t help where the good light is!), and both agreed that the universe must have been on our side as shooting at home felt so more personal.
