Artist Portraits // Liah Edwardes
A bit of a dream shoot for me here; artist portraits with Sheffield figurative artist Liah Edwardes. I’m a bit of a fangirl when it comes to Liah’s work, she is ridiculously talented when it comes to all things arty, and her portrait work is simply stunning. Liah also runs the amazing life drawing group Anomaly Life Drawing here is Sheffield, it’s one of favourite things to do when I can. There’s a different artist theme each week, and Liah gets so creative with the sets.
Back to her shoot. Liah turned up with a pile of electrical wire, some of her own art, and a pile of hand cutouts found in a skip. She got to work creating faces from the wires, forts from the hand cutouts, and projections with her art. A glorious afternoon.
Sheffield Portrait Photographer
I used a mixture of digital, film, and Polaroid for this session, it felt good to mix things up! It was such an honour to photograph someone I admire so much. If you’re looking for some creative portraits of your own to represent your business/skill/gift, then please get in touch HERE
