Sheffield Portrait Photographer
Here we have it then; my 2022 portrait highlights. It’s always a mighty task looking back through the previous years work, but it’s such a brilliant reminder for me. Oh my goodness, I get to work with the BEST people. I’ve had so many fun experiences and amazing opportunities come my way this year, I’m truly grateful. I’m thankful to everyone who stepped in front of my camera this past year, I’m so grateful to the support folks has given, it will NEVER get old to see our collaborations featured on your websites, on social media, in a magazine, online, or as an album cover! I’m so thankful to everyone who has recommended me to others, I’m now in my 13th year of business so this still means an awful lot to me. Here’s a little glimpse at some of my highlights from 2022.

Make Portraits
You’ve got this far down the blog post, excellent work. Here’s a little section dedicated to Mark, always the most willing of portrait subjects (and my favourite), always willing to ‘go stand in that good light please’ , always on hand when I want to try out some new weird film. Thanks xx

Portraits On Film
I’ve shot more portraits on film in 2022, and have loved it…. although my accounts have definitely suffered as a result of this. From experimenting with Polaroid soups, to double exposures on my battered/held together with sellotape Holga, it brings me a lot of joy. That slower, more thoughtful pace of working feels so good. I’ll be continuing to create more portraits this way in 2023, and I have a few projects brewing that I’m looking forward to starting asap.

Booking A Portrait Session
Maybe the images you’ve looked through so far have you thinking to yourself ‘hmm I like the look of this portrait malarky, I wonder how I book a session with Emma or find out a bit more… WELL LOOK NO FURTHER SUNSHINE! I would love to hear from you, and all you have to do is get in touch HERE .
There are plenty of options available; from a 30 mini taster session , to a full day of creating together. I’ve tried to cover all bases, but we can always chat further about what you’re hoping for.

Congratulations, you made it to end of this ridiculously long blog post, thanks so much for taking the time to scroll all the way through, you’re the best.
