A look back at Rudi and Karolina’s intimate wedding at Hotel Gotham, what a day. A lesson in how to do whatever the hell you want on your wedding day, and I’m here for that. If you only want to invite a few people, do exactly that. If you want to celebrate luxuriously, do it. Weddings have definitely changed over the past few years, and I feel the pandemic shifted outlooks on what is important to a lot of people. There are not any hard and fast rules about what you can and can’t have on your wedding day, as there shouldn’t be. Afterall, when it comes to celebrating your love for each other, it should represent who you are and what you love. I’m rambling. Back to Rudi and Karolina. Getting ready together, drinking champagne with the family, then a walk together to the ceremony, just perfect.

Ceremony at Manchester Registry Office
It was a beautiful sunny walk to the ceremony, Manchester is such a glorious city in the late Summer sunshine. I’m always a big fan of walking through a city with my couples, either pre or post ceremony. There is always that feeling of excitement and anticipation, and there’s always a look.

Wedding Portraits In The city
Rudi and Karolina were married before noon, which gave us plenty of time in between the ceremony and the afternoon reception to explore the city, and play around in the beautiful light. Imagine my joy about that?!

The Perfect Afternoon Reception
Friends joined the fun at Hotel Gotham, more champagne flowed, amazing food was served, and I learned quite a lot about Rudi and Karolina’s life together during their speeches.

Wedding Party At Hotel Gotham
You might be thinking an intimate wedding at Hotel gotham sounds like a quiet celebration. You couldn’t be further from the truth. I left this wedding feeling like I had photographed a wedding with 200 guests. Karolina and Rudi love to party. They also love to dance. They also love everybody else to dance with them.
