I want to share a recent Winter portraits session with you, just to show you the magic of the season. It’s been so bleak here in Sheffield recently. It feels like the rain and cold have settled in for far too long, and quite honestly, it’s been getting me down. Rather than slipping fully into that feeling, I chose to try and embrace it a little more creatively.
So I took the Peaks with artist and extraordinary woman Deborah early one morning, in search of some inspiration. We found it in abundance.
Winter Portraits On Film
I used a couple of different cameras and films for this winter portraits session, I love how the images using Lomochrome Purple turned out, the colours and surprise from that beauty continue to keep me addicted to it!
Deborah was an absolute star during this session. It was SO cold. I was wrapped up in a big coat, hat, scarf and gloves, and I still couldn’t feel my fingertips. Which is the one part of the body that makesMeanwhile, she was lying beautifully on the cold and wet moss.
