One of my favourite parts of a wedding day has to be when I first arrive in the morning as I never know exactly what scene I will be walking in to. I’ve been greeted by screams of excitement, dogs barking, bridesmaids running away at the sight of a camera, huge hugs and sometimes the look of complete fear (wedding day nerves, not because I’m really frightening). When I first arrived at the hotel suite Chris and her bridal party were staying in I thought I had accidently walked into a craft workshop. There was a bride making table decorations, bridesmaids making pom-poms and bouquets, all whilst having their hair and make-up done. It was impressive. At this point I should also mention that Dan’s mum had been up until the earlier hours making and decorating the seriously cool wedding cake, but was happily dashing around delivering flower arrangements.
Everyone went to so much effort to make Chris and Dan’s wedding at The Place Hotel the super stylish (oh that dress!), fun packed extravanganza they both hoped for, you should all give yourselves a huge pat on the back as it was just brilliant.
