2015 was quite the year; not only with my wedding photography but with personal experiences too. It began in Vietnam with a root canal (not the greatest start to the year!) and finished in my living room eating homemade lasagne after an amazing New Years Eve wedding at Bartle Hall.
I’ve met some amazing people this year, visit some incredible venues, and have experienced some moments that have been truly unforgettable. That’s all down to my amazing couples and their friends and families. All have welcomed me into their lives with open arms and I’ve enjoyed it so damn much, I really do have the best job.
There have been some learning curves along the way, valuable lessons have been learned, and I’m looking forward to a whole new adventure with my 2016 couples. I have a feeling it’s going to be a fanstic year ahead. It’s been so nice to sit back and look through my work from the past year. Things can often be so busy that it’s tricky to get the chance to do this on a regular basis and I’m going to make it happen in 2016 a whole lot more.
An enormous, heartfelt thanks to everyone I’ve worked with this year. My couples, their families and friends, all the amazing suppliers, second shooters…the list goes on and I’m in fear of it turning into Gwyneth Paltrow’s Oscar speech. I feel extremely lucky to do the job I do and never forget that. Here’s to a happy and healthy 2016!
