Fairfield Social Club Wedding
I’ve got Cate and Jon’s Fairfield Social Club wedding to share with you this fine Sunday. Here are the facts for you. They are a seriously adorable couple ( photographic evidence of this below), and owners of a very cute dog. Their wedding day was a huge celebration of love. Not just for each other, but for everyone in the room too. Individual cards, photographs, and notes were given to each guest instead of favours, such a thoughtful idea. Their wedding budget concentrated on the things that were important to them; having all their loved ones together, good food ( EVERYONE book The Ottomen for your wedding catering immediately, oh my goodness!), being kind to the planet, a whole load of fairy lights, and a relaxed party vibe. Cate bought a Summer dress instead of a wedding gown, and it suited her perfectly. Flowers were bought at the market and arranged by her Mum.
There definitely seems to have been a bit of a shift this year, with my couples doing what they want, rather than what tradition tells them to do. I can’t tell you how much I love this. For a start, weddings aren’t cheap, so why do things that cost a whole load of money if they’re not important to you. Having the folks you love all together is the most important thing, and there is nothing quite like that feeling of having all your people in one room celebrating love. Huge thanks to Cate and Jon for being two of the kindest people I’ve met, here’s a little look at how the day went down.
This was my first time working at Fairfield Social Club, but hopefully it won’t be my last! If you’re planning your wedding here, please get in touch, we should definitely talk.
