A Brief History
I’m so excited to have a (relatively) new space at the brilliant Yellow Arch Studios, I’ve been wanting to add studio portraits to my offerings for a little while now, and the stars aligned perfectly! I got the keys back in August, and have been settling in nicely since then. It’s a great spot in Sheffield, and I couldn’t wish for a nicer community.

I’ve had some many wonderful folks come through the door already, so wanted to share some images with you to show what’s possible in there…. although this is just the beginning, I have lots of ideas brewing! My studio portrait work is a mixture of digital & film photography, with options for both natural and studio lighting.
Your Portraits
I like to a have a conversation with everyone prior to their portrait session. I think it’s really important to have some understanding about what my clients want from their portraits. What words best describe the feel of the images they want to represent them, what the images will they be used for, how do they feel about having their photograph taken, what to wear, along with many other things. This conversation is always such a help to both me and my clients.
