April Film Project // Lines
The theme for this months film blog circle was lines. They are literally everywhere you look, but for some reason I really struggled to do this one. I’m still seeing things I wish I’d photographed, so maybe I’ll just continue with this theme in the background and do a massive round-up of lines towards the end of the year! I’ve really been enjoying the creative practice of having a specific theme each month to look out for. I’ve been using my walks around Sheffield to focus on them, and it’s felt like a bit of a meditation. Having something to focus on or look out for during a walk, feels like a great way to stay in the present moment.
The whole of this blog post could quite easily have been dedicated to the glasshouse at the Botanical Gardens, SO. MANY. LINES. Plus it creates the most amazing shadows in the late afternoon, I want to live in there.
We went to the beach! Oh my goodness, it was so good for soul.
Film: Fuji 400h, Lomochrome Purple

Love these Emma! And I agree completely, they’re literally everywhere, and I thought this theme would be easy for me, but for some reason I struggled a bit too! Finally finished my roll today, just in the nick of time!
This feels just like a sweet nostalgic walk through a childhood neighborhood.
