Monthly Film Project // Artificial Light

Monthly Film Project // Artificial Light

I’ve been quite quiet on the blog front of late. Not because I don’t have anything to share, as I have quite a lot. I think lockdown fatigue kicked in for me over the past few months, and it’s been very hard to remain motivated to share things on social media. With the awakening of Spring, I seem to be getting back into the flow of things, so hopefully you’ll all get to see a little more from me around these parts! I’ve been busy with portraits, as well as some personal projects, so things are all moving in the right direction. This is a follow-on post from last month, and my second set of images with the monthly blog circle. This months these was artificial light.

Film Photography

Artificial light is everywhere, so I wanted to challenge myself a little. As I’ve been at home for what feels like 15 years (and 5 minutes simultaneously) , I chose to shoot my images around the home. Just to try and see things differently. I spend a good few weeks becoming a little bit obsessed with finding the artificial light at home… including the fridge! Here are some of my favourites from this month.

This is a little peak into my self care routine! At the end of the day I generally always have a bath, light a candle or two, and catch up on Corrie or something 🙂 I know, deep.

I’m loving being involved in this photography group, its full of the most inspiring photographers. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in to Aprils theme, it’s a good one! If yo want to check out some of the other photographers in the group, start with Amy Berge, her work is stunning.
